About the Choir

In 1994, an innovative and dynamic group of spiritual students at Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama formed the Voices of Triumph Gospel Ministries. With the mission of spreading the love of Jesus throughout the world, our choir strives to exemplify the true spirit of worship. We have formed a legacy that has lasted twenty-five years and we are continually seeking to be a positive, involved, and influential organization. Our ministry is more than music; it is about changing lives. Although we are students and do not have much, we are willing to give what we do have -- our voices and a helping hand to anyone who is in need. Our ministry has taken us to nursing homes, juvenile centers, hospitals, homeless shelters, schools, The Ronald McDonald House and many more. As much as we do outreach ministry, we also do in-reach ministry on our campus. Some of the in reach activities that we do are praise and worship programs, visiting students in their dorms, social activities with other organizations on campus, and bible study sessions. Christ came to serve and as Christians it is our duty to do the same. There are many people out there who need someone to tell them that they are loved and cared for and that everything's going to be alright. Voices of Triumph Gospel Ministries aims to be that someone.
